duwatnaOk so there's 2 LANs near philly 2 months apart, this one and GXL. I'll probably only go to one of them. FITES is only 3 hours from me and also is the weekend right before i start class for fall. Any thoughts of maybe agreeing on one of these to go to so we can have a big turnout?

Only if you drive like a mainiac. If its mostly highway driving and you don't hit anything you should be fine. My tower went with me all over the east coast and I never had a problem.

If its just a 6 hour drive just wedge the tower on the floor behind the passenger seat. It won't move at all. Before I got a laptop to LAN with I used to lug my tower all over like that.

dayz sucks now. hackers ruined it. as soon as the stand alone comes out (rumor has it alpha starts next month) im all over it.
try the wasteland mod for arma2, way more fun than dayz these days. You dont need to install anything, just search "wasteland" in the filters in operation arrowhead

Seriously tho, I don't use a g400 but last season one of my teammates broke his and Logitech sent a g400s as a replacement. He said it felt different. He says the feet felt thicker and the tracking wasn't the same.
