Depending on how the PSU is built, and positioned in the case try to look and see if the fan inside the psu is actually spinning. If it is, try sticking something in to stop the fan for a second (it won't damage it, just use something plastic) and see if the noise is still there. To me it sounds like a fan bearing is going bad, which is not a real big deal since its very easy (and cheap) to replace that fan.

Rule out the obvious and the easy to fix stuff first. Always check the fan when you hear a weird noise.

sorry to bump an old thread, but i too have a question. when streaming (any game) sometimes when there is a lot of motion on the screen the image gets choppy and the colors get distorted. any idea how to fix that?

That's exactly my point. When any one of the admins doesn't agree with how you are playing the game they just restrict you. I got banned from the channel before because, as a scout, I went engy to defend last. I only went engy for the one life, granted it was an epic one where I killed like 6 people and made a medic drop to a lvl 2 on mid. As soon as I died I went back to scout. It wasn't viable apparently. Banned.

Apparently the admins didn't think it was VIABLE to off class in that situation. That's the main reason I stepped down in pug.na, I don't agree with the off classing rules. If you can do it in ESEA, you should be able to do it in pugs.

As a roamer I always switch to shotgun when holding last. I try to stay on gunboats most of the time tho for a few reasons:

- with my play style I like to be able to jump around when I'm low on health to either get a key pick, or cause a distraction for my team. It's harder to do that with a shotgun.

- since I'm jumping around a lot I would need more buffs from the medic and I don't want to take heals from anyone. The only time I ever try to get heals is if there is no action and the med can do it without any problem, or if the pocket goes down and I assume pocket until he's back.

There are certainly pros and cons to the shotgun roamer, it all depends on your own style.

Why is killing still an admin?

I don't think he was talking about the ESEA LAN. I've talked to lots of smaller sponsors over the years who just like to have players who LAN together at random LANs (like ATL, pax, fites, GXL or whatever) to promote the sponsor by wearing a tshirt or something.

Actually I've had the CM Storm Trigger for months and this thing is amazing. They make good boards. Look at the quick fire rapid for a nice 10 keyless
