Queued a few minutes ago and saw around 4000 servers worldwide. That's a pretty big step up, maybe this stress test will be longer.

b4nnyOfficial announcement: there'll be potentially 2 more stress tests this week. Tomorrow afternoon and another Friday morning (EU friendly).
I know competitive CTF is a bad idea and generally not fun, but the time I had on doublecross was pretty great. I suppose it definitely was lower-level game, but scrambling from offense to defense with a team actually using mics wasn't all that bad.
If it was on turbine, however...
It appears that people who own self-mades are able to queue after the stress test is over, even without having a pass. At least I and a few other people on facepunch can. Interesting, I'm not sure if this is intentional.
are we expecting an update with passes, just an update, or just passes?
"this week"
"the next day"
trashTF2 can get the kind of response when MM comes around, and valve knows that, and thus they're trying to optimize everything they can feasibly get their hands on. OW is designed for competition, from the getgo, so it has to immediately be put under scrutiny
I agree that a game being buggy on launch doesn't equal a bad game, but the criticism towards the game as a whole (not the performance arguments) is not related to bugs, just how awful the gameplay is. I haven't played of course, just from what I've seen and many have said here, I say that.
m4risaflamewhat part of anything youre saying changes the fact overwatch is an awful game fundamentally.
you're like using an argument that a game from 2007 has issues running on hardware from 2016, which is obvious. I'm pretty sure you need emulators to run a lot of games over 10 years old. Fuck, I tried to play LEGO Island recently and couldn't even get it to run.
Like TF2 is a money sink, it has a big playerbase 10 years later because its fun, playable, and free. Overwatch will without a doubt die within the first 3 years with the content it has right now. Not even implying the game wont be consistently updated. The game is just fundamentally awful.
cool man, i get it, you dont like the game
i personally think the game is fun, more fun than tf2
unpopular opinion here i know
but the thing is, flame is backing up why he doesnt like it and countering the reasons you dont like tf2, whereas your arguments sum up to "i like it better." doesnt really matter and to be honest im not sure what this has to do with the matchmaking beta expansion.
I have yet to see a new asshole torn that thoroughly, damn.
