Yeah I’m pretty sure pugchamp died bcus the servers that host the actual pugs themselves seem to implode every time. and tbf almost every tf2 server these days have lag problems but more often than not in the pugchamps I’ve played in the <2 months have been borderline unplayable bcus of server issues.
I did notice they un hide elo and win rate in pugchamp, that shit is pretty cool. Would love to use it more but ya ppl prefer pug groups where they can exclude ppl they don’t wanna play with and everyone is expected to play medic.

crackbabydumpsterespecially when there is no issue getting invite teams having class restrictions is so fucking dumb. all ur doing is making whichever team you underestimate have an easier time winning the div but in the process you lower the skill level overall and get worse teams going into invite
yeah can we talk about this
imagine you're a low invite/top advanced level player, you can't find an invite team, and now you can't practice your main in the division directly below invite?? I don't know why "Advanced" has to be a safe space for newer players to have potential to win the div, this is RGL's Intermediate equivalent, it should be a place for potential to flourish, not be punished for being more skilled than the divisions average.
and don't get me wrong, I think anti sandbagging rules should be in place. But maybe something closer to "only 3 invite players on their main allowed per team" or something to that effect. Let people play their mains, it's literally the 2nd highest div.
