Damn man, that was really good.

Yeah, I get that, I just figured I'd look here as well, since the userbase tends to skew a bit older here. We're practically dinosaurs in UGC years.
I'm getting neg'd, so I guess I should clarify that this is for 6v6. If I'm being neg'd for trying to recruit for a low division, then sorry for being bad I guess?
We recently lost our demo to IRL commitments, we're looking to add a demo for the upcoming season and hopefully longer. Most of us work full time, so we have a set schedule for scrims/practices/matches, as follows:
Tuesday: 5:30pm PST
Thursday: 5:30pm PST
Occasionally I will try to schedule things on other days, but in those cases it is a lower pressure sort of thing, where I consult with everyone beforehand to make sure it won't be a hardship. That being said, if you join the team, you're expected to be present on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30pm PST. Our schedule is reliant on punctuality and focus, in order to get the most out of the limited time we have.
Your current skill level is less important than your commitment to improvement, punctuality, and personality. You don't have to be older, but it helps having people that are in the same generation (most of us are in our mid-20s). We have a team rule against the use of the word "rape" in a gaming context because, seriously? If you're a nice person, and you are okay with working within a smaller but very focused schedule, feel free to add me! We'd love to get you added up and kitted up ASAP!
Freakin' ace! See you guys in October! Also, if there are any folks that want to get a little squad together beforehand, I'll lend my mediocre soldier skills to the cause!
Thanks vile!
Not_MatlocktomroadrunnerHoly shit, sell out already? If anyone wants to ditch their ticket, I'd buy it off of them.vileanyone wanna buy my ticket for $35 ($5 off)? i can't make it.
if not, i'm gonna refund it. add me.
How the hell did I miss this? Thanks for the slap on the side of the head! Vile, I'll be adding you soon!
Holy shit, sell out already? If anyone wants to ditch their ticket, I'd buy it off of them. I've also got a laptop that visitor could borrow for the weekend (not fancy, but runs tf2 at 120fps when using my N64 graphics config). I also live in Woodland, CA, so I could give some transport to people within a reasonable distance.
This is all hoping that there's a spot that opens back up.
I've got it, haven't been able to play as much as I'd like, just got the dubstep gun. I'm tomroadrunner on steam as well, I'd be down for some co-op!

YES YES YES
My favorites are The Watch series. Imagine Law & Order in a fantasy universe governed by narrative convention.
An important thing as well is to get an alarm that is as annoying as possible. You can even set a lot of them to play the radio. I play the local morning zoo to wake myself up, since they're pretty much aural vomit. I get too used to normal alarms, but hearing terrible people saying terrible, unfunny things helps me wake up, just for the sake of shutting them up.
dashnerPaladin needs an overhaul for sure. Last night we had to FFW because our opponents left the client after the game and we were unable to report scores (Both teams need to have 7 players checked in)
With a prize pool and perhaps some sort of stat parsing (which I doubt is possible without dedicated CEVO servers), it could go a long way though.
With anything though, competition is never a bad thing, and UGC hasn't had any for awhile despite many players' gripes with it.
Oh man, was that us? sorry about that, didn't think we would mess you guys up by leaving, we weren't really in a huff either, it was more like, "Hot damn we got to play with Tangerine for 15 minutes!". So yeah, sorry for leaving, didn't think it would cause a problem.

This is my chair, nowhere near as nice as some of the $800 ones, but... It's $90 and it reclines and your back won't get hot. I've never had a problem with comfort on it, and I'm quite a big boy. No adjustable lumbar, but the back is fairly comfy to start, so eh.
I love the Americans playing Australians, the British playing Americans, and the Australians playing British, the accents were all over the place. Then again, who cares about accents when
If you haven't seen it yet, get out there and do so. This is one of the only movies I've ever seen where the 3d was worth it as well. The movie has several big moments that could serve as the climax, but they keep amping it up more.
Seriously, see the movie. Now.
A group of about 10 of us from the cracked forums have recently gotten back into DayZ, playing the Origins meta mod. It allows for base building and makeshift armor for cars (corrugated sheets over your tires and stuff like that). Is there anyone here that still plays this buggy mess of a masterpiece?
We all sort of stopped during the hacking hijinks that happened after the Steam Summer sale last year caused the numbers (and shitheads) to swell into the hundreds of thousands. The popularity has waned a bit, taking a lot of the hackers and shitheads with it, so the game is actually fun again!
We play on 88.150.201.18:17802, if anyone is interested in joining us sometime!
