#11 New 6sPUG Group in TF2 General Discussion

We have recently acquired 2 more admins and one more PUG server. There are some plans in their infancy for some awesome events in the very near future, so be on the lookout!

#52 TF2.gg Beta Launch in TF2 General Discussion

This might be stupid, but for an individual ELO, maybe some way of measuring a player's damage per death countered by how many heals they receive? Wouldn't be perfect, but as a roamer I know that my KA:D is usually going to look bad at the end of the day, but if I was near the bottom in heals received and I did around 200 damage per death, I probably had an at least decent night.

Might be a dumb suggestion, but just looking for something that would be fair to the classes that aren't built for impressive stat lines.

#8 game optimization in Customization

This may be a stupid thing to say, but when I went from 1920x1080 to 1600x900 my frames went from 180-ish to over 800, stable. You may already be running something like that, but if you aren't, it makes a massive difference, and visually I can't really notice any difference besides the killfeed fonts looking slightly different.

#8 New 6sPUG Group in TF2 General Discussion

A lot of times the seriousness should be played by ear. Sometimes we're going to do sort of a tryhard PUG on the week's match map, sometimes we're going to do a silly PUG on cp_badwater or something of the sort.

Basically, as our rules state: Don't be a jerk. If we're playing Process and you want to be a full-time sniper, it's likely that no one will mind. We aren't going to be class-nazis, just don't be a scumbag. If you're not a jerk, you'll get along fine.

#15 jump_competitive_b1 in Map Discussion

I think having the map features is awesome, but I don't think you need the textures. Maybe do what you're doing, but use the ugly high-contrast textures (or non-existant ones) from a typical jump map? Just to make the objective of each jump super clear?

It's awesome to see someone make a map like this, since I can somehow pull off a triple skip jump with a ramp slide, but manage to screw up the window jump on Snakewater.

#15 autism in Off Topic

I work with children on the Autism spectrum, my kids skew more towards the severe side (most have other things going on, like Smith-Lemli-Opitz, Fragile X, etc), but I can help with some insight if you're ever curious for more anecdotal advice and more practical adaptations you can provide to help her live an independent and happy life.

You can also check out these 2 sites:

Basically a bunch of people that are 1,000x smarter than I am that can help your family.

phAZELakers. No one gave them a chance yesterday without Kobe against the Clippers but they reminded everyone that LA always has been, always will be, and still is a Lakers town. Once Kobe comes back they will be even better. Other strong teams will be ofc the thunder, warriors, grizzlies, rockets, and spurs in the west. In the east the bulls should do well once they regain their chemistry and form, along with ofc the heat, nets, pacers, and knicks.

You can't play your top trio for more than 30 minutes each, and the rest of the team is a turd. Sorry man, you're going to have to pay attention to more than one game. They're going to be BAD.

#48 tf2 quake dm server in TF2 General Discussion

You are a TF.TV success story.

So many of these servers come and go, it's awesome to see one really catch on with an enthusiastic admin. Congrats!

#8 eXtv - Root vs Anime in TF2 General Discussion

I'm legally deaf in my left ear, so this cast basically sounds like I'm listening to dubstep at a very low volume while watching TF2.

Flipped my headphones and enjoyed it, thank you for making these!

#7 medic mentor in Mentoring
ToastyTHTJAYYSONToastyTHTYour link is broken, and you have still yet to specify a division."ugc silver and open"That is the div he wants his mentor to be in, I want his division.

Why the hell would he want a UGC Silver mentor? C'mon man, be reasonable, he's in Silver and Open and wants a mentor. I'm going to go out on a limb and say he probably wants someone that is at a minimum in UGC Plat 6s or ESEA IM.
