Oh, and Route, Oil, Rawrheem/Rox and that whole crowd have apparently started playing with him and defending him now... not that it's surprising, since all those three do is try to stack games on their alt accounts

Of course it's fun to play when you can go head to head with a solly or demoman as engi and not take any damage. That doesn't mean it belongs in the game.

A bunch of pub servers already have a mod to make the short circuit use 18 metal per shot instead of 5, which makes it run out of metal pretty near instantly

The only thing I'd worry about is the monitors. Most of the electronics in your PC should be fine, just try to avoid condensation inside the case if you can.
