Walk off an edge then immediately jump and strafe back on. Saves you a ton of splash damage, is a great thing to do while reloading for example. Works particularly well on blands mid.

Is that a real thing? :o
hookySo the "main" scout wants to be a sub now, and I want to main. So I guess I'll be maining from now on.
Actually now the main soldier wants to be a sub so I have to do that, I think.
Be that as it may, it's true.
Frith's only solo album I have is Clearing, cool ambient/soundscape type stuff. Speaking of that, ever listened to Death Ambient? Magnificent band he play with.
Terrible quality picture, but here are some of my more recent purchases that I'm out of tower space for.

I buy a lot of my music online (bandcamp etc), but some things are nice to have a physical copy of. Most of my shopping is from Wayside Music, but every time I'm on their site I end up accidentally ordering way too many things.

dianayeah, i've heard of/heard all but like 6-7 of those artists, you listen to a bunch of entry-level prog, kraut, metal, and jazz
pretty good taste though, i like can, faust, amon duul, comus, gong, and popol vuh a lot
maybe try univers zero or henry cow, looks like stuff you'd dig
I listen to a lot of less well-know artists in those subgenres too, they just have less material and fewer plays show up on last.fm. The "top artists" here end up being the things I've been listening to for longer, as well.
UZ is sick, and I love basically every band Fred Frith has played in.
Also, I'm so happy to find other zeuhl/avant/RIO types around here <3
To be fair lots of my internet friends have too, just my IRL friends all have bad taste
He was a starter for my UGC steel 6s team last season. Has good aim, willing to learn and listen. Somebody teach him how to dodge, please.
I listen to all the things nobody has ever heard of.
I used to be pretty good at chess. I spend too much time thinking though, so correspondence chess is the only way that won't bore my opponents.
Went 27-1 on chess.com back when I actually bothered to do that, but most of my friends are sort of bad so it's not saying much
LCD monitors refresh in a different way than CRT monitors, and 120Hz isn't actually really a big difference.
I'm a fan of more open 2nd points, with lots of room for mid-air maneuvering.
Last should have a handful of tighter choke points, lots of places to stand around. A wall or pillar or something that works well for building as a soldier is nice too, not like (for example) the left side of gully last where I always end up using the glass around the point.
Flank routes shouldn't be so tight that they are a death trap if anybody sees you there.
Hi Mike.
