you should go to the toad n turtle for dinner once you get to calgary, it's pretty close to the airport
wonderful group of people, play with them :)
Once on the Toronto yellow line at around 8pm someone boarded wearing a large coat, a fisherman's hat, and a porcelain painted mask. The mask was white with little flowers on it (and was a little weathered). Could not see their eyes in the mask, just dark holes. They had a straggly, straw-like beard poking out from openings in, around, and under the mask. This person also kept "looking" around - essentially just slowly turning their head different ways. I imagine there was some delight taken in freaking passengers out. Two girls sitting near me exchanged a "fuck this" look and exited the car.
A good portion of the strange things I've seen have been on the Toronto subway, come to think of it. Anyway, this is kinda what the mask looked like:
Peppermint is someone who has been consistently improving her gameplay and grinding hard for several seasons now. She'll most likely care about improving as an individual and as a team more than anyone else on the roster. In addition to her skill and work ethic, she is a remarkably friendly person. Give her some great tryouts and pick her up. :)
His DM and game sense speak for themselves, but he also has a great personality - keeps things chill in mumble particularly during tense moments. :)
shoutout to loris/space loris/space doggo who puts an incredible amount of effort into this community's events and is a cornerstone of audio production. he not only worked on toth this year, he also runs hugs.tf (another amazing charity effort), and has been a key player in other tf2 events for the past few years. :)

You should read Auri's book, The Slow Regard of Silent Things. It's basically a weird supplementary novella and it's delightful. The story of how it came to be from Rothfuss is also really lovely.
Read and loved the Mistborn series, I have the first book in the other Sanderson series people talk about - The Way of Kings, I think? - but I haven't really gotten into it.
I'm interested as to where you are in the Gentleman Bastards series - I've only read the first book. The friend who recommended them to me said they get kinda weird/different following that.
MalloryAlso I read the Silmarillion like a billion times when I was younger and loved it, but it is kind of uneven because it's actually a compilation/trim-and-paste of like several different full-length books he never published.
It's supposed to be essentially the creation myths of Middle-earth, right? I think it makes sense for it to have a stitched together collection/anthology vibe. I'm pumped to revisit it. :)
I'm reading the Name of the Wind series again because eventually I'll be reading the second book when the release of the third is announced.
I'm planning to restart the Silmarillion in earnest this weekend. The introduction is really beautiful so I always lose steam after reading it.
(Seriously anyone who hasn't read Name of the Wind but is looking for a good book should really consider this one)
