im pretty sure the volume and quality of pugs has never been lower on any major pug system
i only see like 20 different people add to advanced pugs in the past month, the majority of IM/invite players just don't play it
i think the beginner division is doing well and i dont know about the amateur one but people clearly are not willing to play advanced pugs, there have been days where literally one pug is played all day
unless the problems with faceit are fixed and people actually start to play again we need to move pugs to a different place, pugchamp has been down but it would be the best option

Cornpop16I don't want to speak on behalf of essentials but from my understanding the 16 teams requirement was made by the sponsors. I'm not sure there would have been a prize pool for a 13 team tournament.
