It's interesting to listen to your perspective on jumping and why you enjoy it so much. As someone who spends a lot of time surfing I can definitely relate to a lot of points you've made. Is anyone not having this problem? My computer is more than capable of handling the new update but I get "phantom" fps lag whenever I'm near skins. My fps does drop down when skins are near or equipped, but not any lower than 150. Theoretically it should be smooth, but it isn't - it feels like my game is chugging/stuttering whenever I'm either using a skin or near one. Changing to dx8 makes it a little better but it's still pretty awful.

Are the skins still causing weird fps lag?

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU which is the Radeon 6950. It's bottle necking my CPU pretty hard (i7-3770K Ivy Bridge). My budget is $400 but I'd like to spend less than that if possible. I want to be able to play TF2 at higher settings (currently dx8) and stream at the same time without having a performance loss. I'm thinking about getting the GTX 970. Any suggestions?

It's sucks that sometimes people say hateful stuff, especially on stream. I personally don't think it automatically makes them a bad person, just immature. However, it would be nice if the racist and homophobic stuff was toned down more (at least on stream).

Flash sales for Rayman Legends ($9.99) and Postal 2 ($0.99) for the next ~10 hours.

If you like platforming games, Rayman Legends is one of the best (if not the best) available on Steam. Postal 2, on the other hand, is one of the weirdest games I've played. It's only dollar so I'd say it's definitely worth trying out.
