I used to play a bunch in middle school and a bit into highschool. I watch videos on channelfireball.com pretty much nightly to keep up with the sets. It's a very fun game, but it's so damn expensive and the community is very very very odd to say the least I couldn't keep playing.

What is happening on the stream?

How long is this event going to last?
This will last all weekend until Monday 1am EST. Winners will then be announced live and contacted via email. All events will take place from Noon to Midnight EST both Saturday and Sunday.

Can I play in any of the events?
Yes! There are several viewer events that will be happening throughout both days. You may also donate to get a slot in the 6v9 Pros vs Donors event which will take place at 2:00pm EST on both Saturday and Sunday. I'd say I'm pretty good at surfing and all I can say is that if you use a lower sensitivity it gets you really used to your entire mousepad. Whether that helps your aim/gameplay I'm not really sure.

Shameless Tip of the Hats promo: Saturday, at 11:00pm EST MIKE and Raiin (two of the best surfers, period) will race the map shown in OP's video, surf_omnific. They may also do another difficult map if time allows for it. Jumping with top level Demoman and Soldier jumpers will also occur the next day at 6:00pm EST.

We are scrapping MVM for a 100 crate unboxing. All the items from the unboxing will go to one person. Fantastic video! Expect more details and information promoted throughout the week. All of us have been putting a lot of time and effort into this. It's gonna be awesome, I really can't wait!

The Virginia servers almost never let me down when I stream to my channel, though I usually stream during the day. Hopefully the Chicago one that I switched to (and worked throughout the match) will remain stable during night casts.

Anyway, really fun game to watch! Looking forward to finals, we will have overlays for that match I promise.

Just wanna say sorry about the lag. Took me a bit to figure out exactly what was wrong and I decided to wait until halftime to fix it. Stupid twitch server lagging out! Lesson learned, it will be dealt with much more swiftly when it inevitably happens again.
