come watch map2 you nerds
set your interp low for rockets and actually aim at them with shotty instead of relying on tf2 hitscan compensation system for meatshots
Do valve not see that if they invested some time into an inbuilt matchmaking system like that of cs that the majority of their player population would become competitive?
Compare tf2 players to csgo players.
I've seen people with thousands of hours on tf2 that have very little skill if any at all at the game but have spent those hours trading or fucking around on dumb game modes (which i have no problem with) because they simply havent been introduced to the competitive scene.
on the other hand nearly everyone with over 50 hours on csgo have played in comp lobbies and people with hundreds to thousands of hours on the game are almost always of a very high skill level.
This is the main reason why people laugh at you when you say you play team fortress two competitively because the people that have tried the game out see it as a shit-fest full of little kids who want hats and nothing else.
If valve took this simple initiative and made an inbuilt competitive lobby system properly there would be more and more players actually giving the game a go.
DaStabajVG248QE for $200 off craigslist, worth it?
as long as its not broken, friend had a problem with one of those not actually displaying 120hz past a resolution of 900x500 or something. Test it if you can before buying it but 200 bucks is a good deal.
i play csgo aswell and have no problem on a large goliathus. which was a downsize from my qck+. dont know how you can take up that much of a mouse pad haha.
get a goliathus extended if you really need the size i guess.(my g400s works well on razer pads)
have no idea why the mouse would be spazzing out like that though
just use the qck?
not sure why that would be happening unless you coincidentally fucked up your mouse settings...
try using a lower dpi or something
So I downloaded nzxt's Cam software to see if it was any good. While going through the features i noticed my graphics card load was spiking up and down quite a bit. I didnt have any graphically intensive applications open, or anything that would be using the gpu at all.
Here is a picture of the usage and a notification at the bottom telling me my card had exceeded 100% load and is "reaching its limit"
also downloaded afterburner just incase CAM was messing up.
Afterburner had an identical graph but the spikes only reached 50-60 % instead of 90-100%
Does anyone know what is going on?
My card is a Sapphire Vapor-x 290 and I'm a bit disappointing that shit like this is happening.
why does this game occupy an emotional sector in my brain help
CuddlyKittenWhile high: mountain hiking

Go out and find something you love and want to pursue. do it.
KaiThePhauxI do MGE and SoapDM a lot for practice, but don't feel like I'm improving.
Dont overdo yourself. if you just keep trying to force good aim you will get bored and not want to play at all. I'm not saying that mge/dm is a bad thing but you cant just play it all day. Anyways, it benefits you more to get a decent sense of the game than just become an overconfident aggressive player who dies from overextending. Play mge/dm but make sure you spend more time playing in pugs/lobbies or scrimming with a team.
KaiThePhauxIf it turns out that my DM isn't the only issue, I'd be more than happy to listen about positioning, movement
The thing is, DM is movement.
If you're playing scout movement is just as important, if not more important, than aim. Being able to dodge shots and calmly line up your own is much more important than being able to plough through the other teams flanks (which never actually happens anyway)
If you're playing soldier you just need to move well and position yourself correctly. if you pick the right place to stand its pretty damn hard to not kill someone with 4 rockets (apart from a buffed pocket or heavy).
Playing demoman isn't even about aim as much as it is positioning, setting traps and spamming out the other team with stickies. Dont try to glorify yourself by hitting pipes or air-shots as you tend to not focus on the basics of actual 6v6 play.
Stop worrying about your aim and just play some damn 6s :)
dm comes with time
