pocket scout: vocalist, star of the show
flank scout: bass, in the background doing important things
pocket soldier: rhythm guitarist, important backbone and capable of interesting things but not really the star of the show
roamer: synth, a nice flashy cherry on top
demo: lead guitarist, very strong/noticeable presence
med: drummer, most unique, not as glamorous but the hardest to play without, sets the tempo for how the game is played :)

i think the point is here is that valve are thinking that if a new half life exclusive to VR won't get people to buy VR, then it is impossible for VR to succeed
i just hope people aren't bugmen enough to shell out $1000+ (or more "modest" $500 for the game, a vive, and a small PC upgrade) for one game, that's gonna keep valve on this massive power trip
