KaeyelTurinCathy_AceIt warms my heart when sufferers of Tourette's can come together to support each other and accept that they have a disorder.
Compulsive Swearing isn't Tourette's, it's Coprolalia. Tourette's is a disorder in which you have any repetitive tick, Coprolalia is when you swear out of control in a ticking manner that's like Tourette's but isn't the same as Tourette's. I have Tourette's but it's all hand motions that I can conceal easily and it's not Compulsive Swearing.
Off topic, but doesn't this interfere when playing games? I imagine any kind of uncontrolled hand movement isn't good in general.
Well, with me, and with a lot of Tourette's cases, certain things actually make you stop ticking for the duration of doing that thing. For me, video games and playing music are things where I stop ticking. However, when I stop the ticking starts back up. If it's something you enjoy or if it takes a lot of brain power you stop ticking for some reason that I forget the name of.
