considering how minuscule ESEA's comp tf2 scene is, I doubt they even know or care. they're updating at the (well, probably) best time world-wide.
in the future you can do the TF2 equivalent of googling (or do the double whammy and try both) by typing this into console...
find zoom
"zoom" can be replaced with anything you're looking for. looking for a tournament command?
find tournament
looking for the sniper rifle auto rezoom command?
find zoom (if that doesn't work) find auto (if that doesn't work, keep switching up the search term)
edit: if you're looking for a server command, for say SOAP_DM, do something like
rcon find soap (pretty sure all soap commands are prefixed with soap)
oPlaiDFrom an esports perspective - the game could be fun.
At PAX it was pretty fun and the visuals are similar to TF2 in that it's easier to grasp the action than a game like CS, where invisible bullets kill people in one shot after someone peeked a single pixel.
They do have jetpacks but the movement isn't dynamic since there wasn't any way to gain speed and keep it like in Tribes or Quake, and there wasn't any viable form of rocket jumping either. Some of the skills were movement based, though, and if the skills are properly set up and balanced I think that could add a lot. I'm not sure why so many FPS games have ignored features like that aside from the 3rd person ones like Firefall and Monday Night Combat. I guess partially because it's hard to know what a "skill" is doing from a first person view, if you're doing some kind of ground stomp or something.
According to friends who play this game regularly, you don't need to play PvE. You can level up faster in PvP if you do well.
They've also revamped nearly the entire game (from what i've been told/heard).

edit: i've also been told with the new hitboxes, headshots aren't as easy.
I've only played it a few times but it seems pretty solid. They're focusing on PvP and eSports (but, then again, so did HiRez with Tribes:Shit)
They've put a lot of work in giving shoutcasters more flexibility and they have this one original feature that I haven't seen in a game yet.

The "Multi-Cam Tool" allows for people with a second monitor to have a window open of all the point of views of many player allowing you to simply click their view to bring it up on the main monitor for the stream to see.
well, if he's talking about 25 years down the road I don't think the violence will really be the issue with the way regular television is going. who knows.
open the server browser
map : mvm_
max players 32 (if you want the full experience, don't go below 32)
upon every refresh, set it to show the most players in ascending order (so the least is up top)
wait until a server comes up with 0-2 players, join it and make sure your friends are staring at the "Join this friends game!" button.
edit* when you do get into the server, spam click ENTER. it will default you to a random class, but you can switch afterwards.
if by legal you mean in ESEA (prob most leagues), no, but it's fine in a pub if it has sv_pure set to 0.

made these ~two months ago, they most likely still work. no idea what I had in mind when making them (the theme or w.e), I just messed with shit until I liked how it looked.
the medic beam and overheal should work kind of like this video

is it that bad for canadians? my canadian friend pings around 70-80.
he probably doesn't want to overdo the colors to make them lose their meaning.
Relatively new SFM video out and it's pretty amazing

atmoi forgot what it's called, but what about an option for seamless streaming of posts in a thread? kinda like google images.
concatenation?

That's not the exact term I was thinking of but the same concept, yeah.
yes, because we all demanded that these features be completed today, this month, or even this year, right?
