why are people downvoting this? looks pretty solid and straightforward to me.
False equivalence between murder and other crimes both violent and non-violent. Misleading comparison between first world and developing nations as if the main difference between those sets of countries are gun ownership rates. Suggestion that innocent people dying is a justified cost to prevent crimes like burglary and theft. Lack of definition on what "protect a life" means and how those numbers were measured.
it's 40 bucks, the 60 dollar version is a preorder pack that comes with some skins and items for other blizzard games
Found a friend from another game who got in the beta and isn't interested in overwatch at all so I have an account to play with now. I don't wanna add a ton of people to his friends randomly from this thread but if we know each other and you're down to pound hit me up on steam and i'll add you for some gamez
hi hello if any of you have secret blizzard connections please tell them to give me permanent beta access because this game was very fun for the one night i got to play it and i would like to play it some more thank you and god bless
move to SLC and learn to ski
MapleHow does it run on people's systems, and are there any good FPS configs out there? My computer seems to be really hit or miss with what it can run, and I don't want to risk $60 on something that doesn't run well.
It's based on crytek engine so you might want to give it a miss if you are running an old PC. Pretty demanding. Most of the people I play with had to put settings on low.
MunchEvolve, much like Titanfall, just seems like a shallow game with not a lot going for it while asking for $60 while I could instead play a free or cheaper multiplayer game that has the same amount or more content and replay value.
For me, I don't pick the MOST EFFICIENT GAME and then play nothing but that. I look at any gameplay experience and if it is fun and worth the price then I'll play it. Just because a handful of developers are able to use the revenue from crazy rich people who pay hundreds of dollars for cosmetics to subsidize my gameplay and make it free doesn't mean I think that every developer is able to do that, and I'm never going to play another game that isn't free again.
As far as the game being "shallow", to a degree I guess this is a subjective thing but I wouldn't call 12 characters over 4 completely different class archetypes being played in asymmetrical pvp shallow. Look at TF2 - years later people are still playing 6v6 badlands with 1 med 1 demo 2 soldiers 2 scouts and having fun. When you're playing a 3d shooter the game is so fluid and dynamic that the emergent gameplay itself has a lot of variety and you don't need a ton of variety in the ruleset to keep things interesting. Or there's the less analogous but classic example of chess with its 6 different pieces.
The thing that makes Evolve worth paying for in my mind is that it is innovative. Titanfall was basically COD with parkour and mechs. The setting was new and interesting for a bit but the gameplay was very derivative. Evolve is not even close to anything I've played before.
Really good game. Most original and fun multiplayer title in years. For some reason people are no longer willing to pay 60 bucks for a multiplayer-only game even though this is a title with a ton of replay value. I've gotten 100 hours out of it already so even if they take down the servers tomorrow it was worth $60 easily.
It has issues for sure, the DLC structure sucks and the matchmaking can be tiresome if you try to solo queue (getting forced into a role you don't want to play). Playing it with friends is one of the best gaming experiences I've had in a long time tho.
can't be rude if you want your game to be seen as professional
might end up as toxic as these guys
thank u for your resume
at this time my team is not seeking any veteran martial artists, however we appreciate your interest
the entire thing from the initial stop to brown dying took less than 1 minute
the officer could have easily been killed within 10 seconds
there is a reason that police are authorized to use deadly force when they feel their life is in danger and that is to prevent police from being killed by violent criminals because they have to hesitate and worry about whether dipshits like you will villify them for the rest of their lives for justifiably defending their own person
police do not have the same duty to retreat an ordinary citizen does, in fact they have a responsibility to try to stop a violent criminal to avoid said criminal getting away and becoming a threat to other citizens
frankly it is completely unfathomable to me that you think someone should be able to assault a police officer and expect the officer to flee, it's seriously insane
it doesn't, assaulting a police officer and attempting to get his gun does
MarxistIn much the same way Rosa Parks was not the first black person to refuse to give up his or her seat on a bus, Michael brown is not the first, or even the last person, to be shot to death by police for crimes that do not warrant the death penalty.
