WaldoTo south Maryland/Washington/North Virginia.
For reasons that I'm not going into, I may be moving into this area. I'm in 8th grade now (please don't derail), and going into high school next year. If this happens, it would be during this summer, so I'd be starting my freshman year at a new high school, in a new town, etc. I'm looking for suggestions for what general area to suggest, seeing as my parents are still at the introductory phase, having not quite decided whether or not we will move, and I hold a good deal of sway in the matter. Does anyone who lives in this area have any suggestions as to a neighborhood with a good public school system (Preferably with a Magnet system), good in terms of internet offerings, and a generally good reputation? It seems that a good deal of people on this site live in and around D.C., so I figure someone must know something.
Still not sure if it will even happen, but I feel that doing research is always good.
Coming from a person who lives in D.C southeast public schools down are shit. Specilized schools like bannaker, McKindly tech and SWW are good schools you should look into. They will work you but they are good schools. Northeast and Northwest are considered (the safest??) parts of D.C but whites have been moving down in S.E lately and the area is becoming safer. Best bet is too look in the areas with good law enforcement and low crime rate. Also im starting my high school year too so don't sweat not everyone is mean down here unless you do stupid shit. Just be chill.

that would be like, the biggest fuck you ever.
By that I mean they get us all hyped and then they'd give us the one thing we don't care about, HATS.
I'm hoping it's for an OFFICIAL TF2 6v6 tournament, OR that in-game pug system or official support for competitive TF2 in the form of an actual spectator system with the ability to listen in to mumble comms(so unlikely, but would be amazing).
Unless they pull a dota and make themed hoodies and jersys for 6s classes and all the procceds go to the teams i'd buy that if it happend.
