Most of the action scenes were fine, and probably the highlight of the film. But some were just drawn out for kinda long and for destroying things for the sake of CGI. Plot was the biggest problem, like you said.

I haven't seen Iron Man 2 or 3 so I don't know how good those were. My superhero and cosplaying sister like this movie, but the sister I watched this with found it kinda bad too.

Movie was mediocre/bad IMO. Slow and boring first half, Micheal Bay loud noise explosions in the 2nd half, 1d characters and acting, flashbacks were dumb imo,

. I don't mind the corniest so much, but it could have been a lot smoother with it (Superman should always have corny shit, but play it off at normal). I also hate the amount of time given to absolutely irrelevant characters (who the fuck cares about the Daily Planet staff).
