BTW if you can't enjoy the game solo, it's probably not worth your time to play it only with friends unless they play a ridiculous amount. You end up bringing your friends down a lot and you probably won't enjoy it as much as doing something else. Make sure you can actually enjoy the game by just playing it/testing it out.

Same, my CS major required me to take linear algebra, discrete math, differential equations, and calc 3. Would not recommend to non-math people.
Honestly you can get many of the same jobs with any of the majors. Only the specialization of CE with hardware makes a huge difference if you try for a hardware/firmware related job.

Mana, you should be able to contact a counselor or something to get you added in. There's always PTE's and stuff to get into a class (I'm in a huge public school too, UCLA) and there are many priority ways to get seniors into classes. I didn't get into 2 classes I needed but emailed some counselors to get into them. If they won't do anything for you then yeah they're fucked up, but I'm pretty sure they're not going to delay a senior like that.
