nope, monitor is plugged in the 1080
So I avg around 100-150 fps during hectic gunfights on my PC, and I was wondering why because i used to avg around 200-300 fps on my lower end pc a few years ago. 1080ti, 16gb ram and i7-8700k with congmalias high end pc config (so most settings are turned off or low)
Before I do a clean install of TF2, any1 have any suggestions as to what might be lowering my FPS so much? It isnt using much of my CPU either, and I have multicore rendering on.
AubriacIsn't that just mat_phong 0? Can you change it to 0 and then take a screenshot? I'm curious what the difference is
Mat_phong 0 makes aussies all golden, so no parts are a different color, you can look it up, also fixed it, see edit
Aubriacmat_bumpmap 0/1? also whats your dxlevel

FactsMachineYou have mat_phong 1 and mat_specular 0, I think. You can turn mat_phong to 0 and have the B4nny aussies or turn mat_specular back on so they'll be back to normal. I may have it mixed up.
that's not it, i've tried every possible combo of phong and specular, i tried habib's config and the aussies look fine with no white shine on them, im going through the settings 1 by 1 and see which fixes it

that breaks aussies, and i've seen people with working aussies and no white shine on weps
So I've downloaded masterconfig and messed a around with phong, specular and bumpmap and my weapons have this heavy white glow to them for some reason. I dont know how to fix it, any help would be greatly appreciated
Edit: Solved it, it's weird, i had to r_rimlight 0 off FIRST, then mat_bumpmap 1. Any other way and it doesn't work.

I feel like there's a perfect mix of skill/fun mixed in, where you dont have to be glued to your monitor 24/7 (like csgo) or is too casual or too much shit on your screen (like overwatch). This is really the only multiplayer FPS i come back to, where as others i put maybe a couple hundred hours then i'm done. Truly a fps masterpiece
still waiting to get half my items back (atleast paid in other items)

At this point it's wildly unethical and inexcusable, as soon as this was apparent they should have shut the website down until it was resolved
When i started with this website i had no idea it was like this. People told me they used it so i said I would give it a try. Won't anymore w/e or not i get my items back.
