Hngand this is why tf2 isn't what it used to be
i meant that in the context of "why stick to a game if there's better alternatives"
if someone feels they'll be more happy, more successful, and more financially better off playing a different game than tf2, or just leaving tf2 all together, then why should we stop them?
if you don't like a video game, why subject yourself to playing it? you're only gonna make yourself miserable

HngI don't think there's any future for tf2 if developers don't appear to even care about the game. A lot of the good players that used to play tf2 have moved on to other games i.e. Overwatch with caring developers, regular updates, and also actively takes and implements community suggestions. Why should people stick to a game when there are better alternatives?
as much as the community cares about the game, we're not forcing people to stay
anyone can quit this game at any point in time, it's their choice

bumping this thread because the team will (very likely) live on post-open/im merger
falking isn't around right now, but the roster is as follows:
scout: uber
scout: ??? (could be YOU)
roamer: viper
pocket: mikemat
demo: falkinghammer
medic: phobia
even though im is nothing but a memory now, we're all still looking to compete at that level and want a scout with playoffs open/low im experience or better since we intend on making playoffs and possibly going further into the bracket, with our end goal of being in im when (or maybe if) there is a s26 of esea tf2 that has an im division

Moist_PenguinThe worry is that if we split the community in NA between multiple leagues it contributes even more to the decline rather than help.
that's why if a move were to happen, it would have to be a complete movement and not a separatist-type movement
