my only complaint is that it can be fast-tracked. that is my only direct concern

>Isn't the "bug" the sensor recalibrating mid game?
The bug that quote was referring to is the sensor changing DPI settings on you, even to ones that it shouldn't be able to (FM going to 950 DPI for example)
Matthew got a FM that had this bug, they sent a replacement that had it fixed. It only exists on early batches of FMs.
>(for reliability's sake, i wouldn't recommend using a mouse (or keyboard) through any external hub.)
This, don't be an idjit like me.
>how does the material feel? got a good grip with it?
I get a great grip. The thumb area's texture is a little annoying but I can trivially overlook it. It would only be a problem if I had a scab or cut on the palm side of my thumb.

Cons:
- Sensor occasionally glitches out and stops tracking for a very short period of time (or tracks on a very low DPI; I can't tell which). (This might be because of my cheap mousepad, but it's still a problem)
- Mouse buttons are so sensitive that if I put pressure on them and put down the mouse then they can actuate without clicking
Pros:
- Sensor is extremely responsive and accurate, even on my cheap artscow mousepad (when it's not glitching)
- Lift off distance is just under 1 CD thickness
- LOD, shell sole, and sensor placement allow you to slightly tilt the mouse while tracking/adjusting (critical for me)
- Shape is extremely comfortable and ergonomic. I would make adjustments for my grip but they would make palm grips worse. Ring finger and pinky are much more well-mounted in fingertip grip than the DA.
- Click latency is A++, more than 10ms faster than the DA 3.5g. Hitscan is extremely comfortable and responsive
- For some reason (probably the light weight) it's much easier for my fingertip grip to make accurate large vertical movements than the 3.5g
- Tracks on more surfaces than my 3.5g, for example, my desk
- Scrollwheel is fantastic
- I can make extremely minor adjustments to position that I could not with the 3.5g. I might stop using the quake mouse acceleration driver because of this.
I will be getting in contact with customer service about the glitching problem. I will note the mouse button sensitivity as well.
I use my mouse at a high DPI with low sensitivity settings because this makes mouse acceleration more accurate, but that might change if the response bug is caused by that high DPI setting.
I was not using mouse acceleration while testing this mouse.
Update: The glitch might be caused by my USB hub.
Update: I haven't encountered the glitch since I removed my USB hub, I'll get back here if I have it again.
Update: The glitch is still happening.
Well is a hard map to work on / think about because the design decisions that went into the base revolve around the top level being important, where the last point / flag room was changed in the TF2 version to where it doesn't matter.
>I never said IP match means the accounts are alts - only that they have a connection.
>the protocol has always been to ban based on IP matches.
My sides
>So how would you propose we track people who use alts to circumvent bans, if not through IP checking?
For one you can not make the first assumption that IP match for a hacker ====== hacker's alt and instead just look into the actual situation when you have to? You clearly have the time to watch demos, so saving time by making the assumption that X hacker has Y as an alt simply because they shared a rare IP once is fucking ridiculous.
if a single use of the same ip is enough to mark you as an alt I want new admins
some servers cap interp_ratio to 1 (which is fucking retarded), use cl_interp as well
the reason you want to use both is because on servers that just restrict updaterate (primarily pub servers) you need ratio to keep the same hitreg
so how about those stats
tf2 doors can't roll. even the rolling doors use an invisible brush entity moving straight up into the wall
freight is getting changes, valve hasn't gotten back to the map's original author on them yet
genericI don't know why people quote that guy's rants as facts so frequently when it's all completely baseless and subjective.
The specific posts I linked contain more than the "feels worse"/"feels better" lines; stuff that's verifiable by anyone, like "The bug is present in many recent mice, and it's already been fixed in the FM". I only linked his posts because it was easier to search for 3310 information by adding him as a keyword as well. Are you just disregarding anything someone says because they do make feel observations and go on rants?
>the 3310 is no big deal anymore as it's found in plenty of mice nowadays.
Afaik the KPM is the only other mouse with a perfect implementation of the 3310.

My DA died. I was looking out for a new mouse. I heard excellent things about the sensor implementation and customer support for this mouse, so I jumped on it. Will post a short review after it arrives.
