wattPretty much this. Cord on my MX518 got fucked, bought a g400 which also went out. Logitech wants my old one back to get it replaced though. It lasted a good year+ which I'm perfectly happy with, but the failure is sudden and it can leave you high and dry.

they wound up deciding that I didn't need to return my old one, getting a replacement for free in about a week. A+ homie would reccomend

toothG400 is one of the best mice on the market, just be aware that the cord goes out fairly often on them. It's not a big deal since Logitech is REALLY lenient on replacements(i.e. you don't even need to ship your broken mouse back, they just ship you a new one).
