Due to the demands of working a part time job and school, our old demoman's busy schedule makes it difficult to attend scrims, which would become a problem during the regular season. So, we have parted ways on good terms. As such, we are looking for a new demoman. Contact me for a tryout.

We're looking to compete in mid/high open. All of our players are willing to put in time to improve.

We're a buncha friends who've been playing TF2 for a while and are in the process of making a team for S14. We are looking for a chill, but dedicated scout to round out our roster. The majority of our team has experience playing competitive TF2, and are looking to have a good time playing next season. Our current roster consists of
Pocket- waffle
Roamer- bigfuck
Demo- HBC
Scouts- appl, ?
Medic- wazerwifle

edit:
We are no longer in need of a demoman.
I don't see the Flying Guillotine (scout cleaver) on the weapon list. Pleasee don't ban it, it's so good.
ROMNEY GOT REKT! WOOOOO!!!
So, I've been getting really consistently horrid lag in TF2 ever since I started playing again in the summer. I was wondering if I could get some help with trying to fix it. I've provided a demo of me in a DM server, and the lag seen in the demo occurs regularly during play time from 8pm-1am. I've tried troubleshooting with a bunch of internet setting tweaks, but am running out of things to try. Plz help, I wanna play this game, but can't play in esea because I lag my ass off come scrim/match time.

I can also try and get a youtube video up if it's more convenient for people to view.
I remember a 120hz monitor thread on tf.tv a while back with many people saying that the monitor had noticeable input lag. This is the only 120hz monitor I've owned so far, so I have no comparison, but going by the testimonials of other players I believe it to be true.
I don't really get why YouTube feels the need to update their website format every 3 months or so. Getting used to the new layout always takes like a day or two which is annoying.
So I'm currently using the Acer GD235hz, and I hear that this monitor is notorious for having a large amount of input lag. My questions are: Does input lag severely affect gameplay? Would it be worth going with a lower frequency monitor if that means lower input lag?
edit: sorry, meant to put this in hardware discussion.
A forum is a place to freely discuss opinions on topics. There are certainly cases in which action should be taken against disruptive users such as cru5 or thread_bumper, but we can't just ban a user because we disagree with them. Saltysally is just a rare case of extremely opinionated and unable to stop talking, and his reputation precedes him now. If you don't like what people are saying, just ignore it.
I feel like Disney has no choice but to start off in a different setting, because all of the original trilogy actors are like old and retired, and you cant really do much more with the whole prequel story, since it's supposed to be done.
Isn't there already an established canon for post Episode VI? Kinda makes me wonder how Disney's gonna go about writing it.
sicksilencealternate steam account, my old one was hacked into
i had this one already from running CSS servers
IRL friend got banned for being a dumbass
so across all of you accounts you only have about 50 hours of tf2. something about ur story just doesn't add up, sorry.
