microsoft mice have lower max 'control' speed and more negative acceleration and of course more input lag if you leave them at 125hz instead of 500hz. its not unusable but I wouldn't recommend it.

#62 9-11 Remembrance in Off Topic
KoeitjeTwinqeKoeitjeAll I say is that a nation that had no qualms about wiping two cities off the face of the earth shouldn't be so strung up about losing close to 3000 civilians during a time of war.
The U.S. was not considered at war when 9/11 occurred.
Al-Qaeda (and other Jihadist groups) is always at war against the enemies of Islam. Just because the United States didn't recognize this until after 9/11 it does not make it any less of a war prior to 9/11.

lol. of course it was less of a war prior to 9/11 and prior to the US declaring war. they were attacked during peace time and your argument is trash.

it doesn't matter if Al-Qaeda considered it a war because were talking about how the US feels about being attacked so it only matters if the US thought they were at war, which they didn't.

one issue is that there is no method to overclock a USB port in windows 8

#9 Ethereal Vol. 1 + democall in TF2 General Discussion

lol the first rocket at 0:13 was hilariously bad. but anyways I liked the sync/color flash on that double air. the editing overall was nice. specifically liked the 2 color flashes with sync near the start and also liked the smooths of the players before a clip (I know lots of ppl in funky visions do this but yea) and the music was really good.

#21 A poll on 6v6 rules in TF2 General Discussion

yes because it makes the game as fair as possible because not all maps are perfectly symmetrical and maybe one color is easier to see or whatever the case may be.

in a pug no one cares about fairness/winning that much.

it also adds a small pause for bathroom or strat or whatever. (I think this is good)

its like saying pugs aren't played bo3 so we shouldn't play matches bo3. lol

#5 Crosshair color change when healing in Customization

mine won't break if you hold mouse1 when pressing weapon binds^^

#3 Crosshair color change when healing in Customization

this isn't hud manipulation but you can do a script to change crosshair color when you hold the heal button.

eg:
alias "+xcolor" "+attack; cl_crosshair_blue 255; cl_crosshair_red 255; cl_crosshair_green 255"
alias "-xcolor" "-attack; cl_crosshair_blue 0; cl_crosshair_red 0; cl_crosshair_green 0"

bind mouse1 "+xcolor"

^that will affect all weapons, to make it medgun only change your weapon binds in medic.cfg (or write another alias but I'm not going to)

bind mouse1 +attack

bind mouse4 "slot1; bind mouse1 +attack; cl_crosshair_blue 0; cl_crosshair_red 0; cl_crosshair_green 0; -attack"
bind mouse5 "slot2; bind mouse1 +xcolor; -attack"
bind q "slot3; bind mouse1 +attack; cl_crosshair_blue 0; cl_crosshair_red 0; cl_crosshair_green 0; -attack"

sub in your bind keys and crosshair colors ofc

edit: I put the simple first one in because does have a small advantage in that it does not have -attack when you switch weapons meaning you can hold fire and switch weapons and it will keep shooting. With the complex one it will stop shooting and you have to press attack to start it again.

#49 MGE or DM in TF2 General Discussion

bball. :o)

for real I'd say MGE.
in DM it feels like all I do is aggressively jump into people which doesn't seem very productive outside of collecting points and free health.

#60 What headset are you using right now? in Hardware

Razer Barracuda.
they're alright, I like them. comfortable, sound positioning is good.
not very durable, had two broken pairs before.

Blue Snowball mic.
desk mics suck. I mean the sound quality is great, you can really hear each individual keypress on my keyboard...

also have Sennheiser PC 151's (they sound terrible.)
and my DJ headphones which kind of suck in games, just too much bass

surprised ppl care cause sound doesn't even matter in TF2, steal the headphones on the airplane and put some earmuffs over them and ur ready for invite lan tbh.

#18 Seeking scout DM/general advice in TF2 General Discussion

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGDBR2L5kzI

really though get a new mouse. wireless isnt going to cut it. pick one: zowie fk/ec1/ec2, microsoft wmo/ie 3.0, logitech g400, razer DA/abyssus
get the rest of your setup good (fps, internet, mousepad, monitor, cfg etc)
lowering your sens if its high can help a lot with scout (recommend 10"/360 to start)
don't forget movement and positioning is very important even in DM.
don't worry about losing in MGE. don't be scared to play anyone. seriously don't let it get to you just be confident take your losses and learn from them.
matches/scrim/pug/lobby is probably the best practice for scout.

#2 Stutter mouse in Hardware

its most likely the lens under the sensor. open the mouse and clean and reseat the lens.

also please stop saying 'a good dpi' like it matters. 400 dpi is a good dpi.
