#4 deetr lft open s21 any class in Recruitment (looking for team)

He will bait you in every way possible, does not know how help his team in team fights and can't bomb or kill a medic for his life. His DM is ok in 1v1 situations but his positioning is the worst I have ever seen out from anyone except for low open players. His incessant feeding is no doubt caused by his two brain cells thinking he has better DM than the entire enemy team. He not only consistently forgets to play on flank, but he will often push with the combo and suck heals out of the rest of his team. Though he can vaguely grasp the concept of watching the flank, he fails to understand object permanence and often gets killed by players he has already seen around a corner. Even disregarding his atrocious movement and ability to not get healed on rollouts, his jumps are nearly cancer-inducing. I was in disbelief when he was not even capable of doing either a sync jump or a simple pogo on a beginner jump map If he ever manages to rocket jump on a mid fight, he will no doubt jump into both of the enemy teams scouts and, if he has luck on his side, land one or two splash rockets on the medic.

Wait no that's neon not deetr, deetr's actually super nice guy and isn't bad at the game. He has good gamesense, takes criticism well, has pretty good jumps and dm, and most importantly, he has more than 2 brain cells. If deetr puts in the effort to DM and play the game more than CS, I think he could improve enough to play on a mid-high or maybe playoff team, pick him up.

#33 thoughts on finding scrims in TF2 General Discussion

As much as I want to see independent scrim sites take off, in a previous post I said that most people are already on tf.tv and (shit)posting anyway, why not throw up a separate forum for scheduling until something better comes along? Maybe the creators of these scrim sites can collaborate with the tftv devs and add a separate module to the website for scrims? Tab at the top? The point of this thread was to push more ideas of making it easier to find scrims, not necessarily push only one idea.

#17 2015 black friday / cyber monday deals in Hardware

http://newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=22-236-599 -- 4TB storage drive for 140 shipped. That's 3 and a half cents per GB.

http://newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=20-173-012 -- 480GB entry level ssd for 110 shipped. That's about 23 cents per GB. Which is pretty good in my opinion. I have the older 120GB version of this drive and it has worked very well as an entry level ssd. By entry level, I mean it's perfect for just about everyone except enthusiasts who want to break every benchmark.

im bumping this thread because i still think a subforum on tftv would help people find scrims easier. or if anyone has any other ideas.
