#30 Getting TF2 on Liquidpedia in TF2 General Discussion
bleghfarec1. It's been 3 months.

2. Rocket League is an official Liquipedia now. That leaves Warcraft III and "Fighting Games" as the only Alpha wikis. Considering they previously had three alpha wikis running at once, it wouldn't be a leap to say they can handle a third Alpha wiki.

It amazes me that Wc3 is still played competitively...

#337 faceit TF2 in TF2 General Discussion
Re4lityis faceit ever gonna add koth_product into the map rotation?

It won't be in in time for the tournament, but it is planned to be added.

Their plugin system can't account for KOTH currently, it's only set up for CP, and it was going to be too much work to overhaul it to support KOTH in time. I'm sure it'll come though.

#8 Matchmaking parties resource? in TF2 General Discussion
ZastrozziI take your point. It's not like the 6s I enjoy watching, but it's a lot closer than pubs. And it's the ease of play that appeals over external 6s systems, as I never know when I can play or for how long.

Not hating on you for liking the system. Valve MM is very easy to pick up and that and MvM are really the only times I play TF2 nowadays.

I just want to dispel the possible notion some might have that Valve MM is real 6s.

#319 yttrium's competitive viewmodels in Customization
stabbyWell, wouldn't switching to Windows also solve the problem? I thought it might be useful for him to know, sorry if I'm violating forum etiquette.

You're basically telling someone that not only do you not want to help them, but you want to inconvenience them to a great degree just to solve their problems in an unrelated way.

The Original also has some issues regardless of being hidden or not. Unfortunately what I suspect to be the issue is a pretty big issue - the models aren't decompiling correctly. I'll have to search for more crowbar versions as it seems like mine is bugged (but newer ones are also bugged in other ways).

#5 Best FPS CFG currently? in Customization
toilethumorI don't know if i'm doing something wrong when I try out comanglia's config or what, but chris max fps seems to give me smoother performance.

Comanglias apparently gives more fps, but i seem to get more stutters/choppier looking gameplay. you should try both and see which one works better for you.

This. In fact it's a pretty big deal but not widely known - most FPS configs out there help your sheer frames per second, but they often mess up frame times, so even if you've got a high FPS value, it'll feel choppy.

It's just a fragment of how I go about hiding the animations.

I'm going to rework my method in the future and it should disappear at that point.

#31 FACEIT 6v6 Opening Tournament announced in News

if it was any other time of year nobody would bat an eye at sigafoo, because he's definitely casted comp before, in a variety of formats, including 6s.

the proximity to his dumb tournament is purely coincidental and shouldn't degrade from his casting performance.

#56 FACEIT Tournament 11/18, Unofficial announcement in TF2 General Discussion
MR_SLINThanks for making that note. It's also worth noting that you don't need 6 players or a full team to sign up for this tournament. You can queue in as a solo player or as a group (they call it a party) and you'll get matched up with other players. It's a great way for you to hop in and start playing TF2 in a tournament setting!

wait for real? that's actually amazing

#4 Matchmaking parties resource? in TF2 General Discussion

Just keep in mind that MM isn't real 6s because you'll often be playing against engineers and spies.

I'd just get a group of friends together. There aren't really any groups that already exist for this.

#10 tracers in Customization

if you're using my viewmodels to hide them, then tracers are fucked up, there's a note in the thread about that.

if you're using r_drawviewmodel then follow Zoot's guide
