#22 ESEA Map Vote Season 20 in TF2 General Discussion

Prepared/static strategies are something that are interesting to people? I dunno about you, but when I was first learning TF2, I DID find gravelpit/AD in general fun. However, as time passes on, you start to realise the myriad of different situations that arise in push and koth maps. Showcasing how well you can adapt in these different situations - that I believe is where the true beauty in competitive TF2 is.

Anyway a sneaky bit of a segue in response to ma3la's post - I'll go on-topic now. If you are going to keep some form of granary; definitely pro granary is an upgrade. I still feel that it's a pain in the ass to defend 2nd if you lost mid p horribly, but that's not gunna change unless the 2nd is opened like crazy, ruining the play of the map.

#43 post ti5 shuffle in Esports

Fear is great at anything, but playing as a core his decision making is ridiculously good; attributed to his experience playing at a high level.

Artour is an amazing player, but I wonder if this was the play. Time will tell, I suppose.

i49 winning against HRG in group stages. Sure we only placed 4th in the end, but we definitely showed that we can play a pretty good game of TF2 despite all those who didn't believe in us :D

#5 Sigafoo leaving EVL TV in TF2 General Discussion

sigafwho?

Dismissing my snide remark; who was this guy in relation to the comp community? I guess it is a bit of a shame that a fairly popular casting crew is losing one if its members. Hopefully they find someone to fill the position

#9 webcam in Q/A Help

Yeah sorry meight probably only looking to spend a max of $80AUD. This is not something that I'd like to spend too much money on; would prefer to use that other money elsewhere.

Thank you for your reply, though!

I wasn't necessarily saying whether it was more expensive here or not, but was more responding to proto's; "The page you linked has a c920 but has a pretty bad deal for it".

Thanks for the replies so far, all!

Cheapest I've seen the cam for in AU currently is $82.

And yeah, we all books down here in Aus :(

edit: Seen that some shops in decent driving distance have a c270 available. You'd think go for that?

#1 webcam in Q/A Help

Looking to buy a webcam, mostly for streaming and the odd skype call

http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=3

Was going to get one from here since I am buying another zalman mic from them (streamin mic since my snowball is fucking obnoxious), but probably a bit more to spend than I'd like on a cam. Unless you guys think one of these is super value for like $50.

TommyWhat if axio has the ultimate secret for making money off stocks, and he tells us on the forum to prove something. Then all the tf.tv people get lots of money and we become #1 esport

Stock traders hate him!

Was aged 19 and made $200k in 7 trading stocks. Click here to see how!

#43 Map location nicknames in TF2 General Discussion
PYYYOUROn FLOW and Mixup we general called everything by position rather than having names for everything. We did this so no matter what map we played we could still call. Far left, left, midleft, mid, midright, right, Far right. Only really works if your team is very team oriented.

Quite relevant for iM, too. Interesting to hear that it was the same for you guys!

wruyou'll never know why russians call sewers Narnia
even I don't know

People I played WoW with called the equivalent of 'Africa' (i.e. really fucking far away from a relevant position) 'Narnia'. Go figure
