I said I didn't like the feel of the mouse-wheel when I first got it, but now that it has worn in it feels a lot better. No complains here _b
Cheap + quality
It's some pre alpha(?) gameplay video with a bunch of noobs playing. let's wait b4 we start making calls folks
I will agree with:
poopy fov
hud not so ideal
Everything else - we don't understand how the game works. Of course we'll be like "wtf do these balls mean" etc.
looks fun if anything
so negative mate
I somehow have the guy on steam friends, and I applauded his efforts. He thanked me, then asked if I was going to i55, to which I replied that I wasn't. Afterwards, he said if I were in the neighbourhood for a pocket soldier to let him know.
iM muselk comin atcha boiz
Honestly, posting mice that have 'flawless sensors' is almost as much of a gimmick as 4k dpi. In reality, how much do you really notice a mouse that has positive/negative accel etc. sheep uses a g9x for example. Having a mouse that feels comfortable to you is probably the most important - that is my #1 preference for mice e.g. I used the xai/sensei for years because they felt comfortable to me. They didn't have the best "sensors" or anything like that, but they performed well enough and felt good in my hand.
Viewmodels are fine on or off, but I prefer them off in TF2 and QL - I have them on in TFC for what that is worth. Hud crosshairs are not a bad idea, but you can do well with just a standard solid green crosshair. The default ones can be hard to see, true.
I will agree that having a good computer and a higher refresh rate monitor does do wonders for your performance, and consistency with frame rate and such can be a big deal.I recommend playing in fullscreen mode if you don't (instead of windowed) because, at least in my experience, the game doesn't run as well and I notice some slight input delay.
Practice is good, too. I'd recommend pugs more than anything as people tend to play differently in MGE/dm, but the world is your oyster. The added benefit is you can practice developing your understanding of the game in pugs with the bonus of improving your bad guy shooting skills. Make sure you take breaks, and try and have a short warmup before scrims/matches.
edit: Doing stuff like: seeing the sun (real talk), eating properly (somewhat), staying hydrated can actually help a lot, too. Stay positive and confident in game and you will improve
Good luck
bl4nkThis almost reminds me of arena junkies. When blizzard would just make some class OP for a patch and all of a sudden 2k players get past 2400 rating and could finally post on the forums after abusing fotm.
Even better were posts about wintraders tbh. p sure there's one about my friend lurking around somewhere lol
can you get fucked termio
shut up showstopper
Sounds pretty cool. Good job to those who made it possible
just buy a new one and stop giving your keyboard beverages - it is never thirsty
My 2 cents, for what they are worth these days.
I feel that removing/adjusting these chokes making them a lot more open removes the feel of the map that separated it from others. imo the problem with the map wasn't necessarily the chokes/'slow' gameplay - it was the fact that if you got rolled on mid you lost last 8/10 times, which could be changed with either somehow extending distances between points or adjusting spawn timers.
edit: I like how you added ammo kits on last. I feel that's something that is definitely warranted
With that said, a decent majority seem to like the prospects of this map, so I guess my opinion doesn't really mean anything. good luck with development
Old faces showing their heads again. :o
This isn't necessarily related to your question, but related to applying to jobs in general. Probably the best advice I can give is, if you are often required to submit cover letters with job applications in the states (large % in Australia advise it), then do it, and make sure you adapt it to the job you are applying for.
For an example a retail job maybe:
"To the hiring manager,
I would like to apply for a role as an x , as advertised on abcdefg.com.
My previous positions have helped me develop skils essential to this role:
-Time management
-Performing well under pressure
-Problem solving & decision making
I am available to work so and so hours as described on the job listing.
Blah blah I look forward to hearing from you"
Also @ Kaneco - aren't CV's and resume's actually different?
kirbyI don't understand people who commit robbery. It's more than likely that you're gonna get caught eventually. Just get a fucking job or career with whatever useful talent you have and you'll be better off in the end.
Why do people commit crimes, period??
