A few years back one of my Uni instructors told us about someone in the class who also had leg pain which ended up being a blood clot. He went to the hospital and everything turned out okay, though IIRC he had to drop out the course.
Also, I don't know if you follow the Starcraft scene, but iNcontrol had the exact same thing, and he's fine now.
(This thread should be a PSA for everyone to get up stretch.)
