Also, I'm really inconsistent with the "fast rollout" as roamer. Any tips on hitting that jump at choke?
Try to go low out on 2nd, where you jump off the point ledge but don't be too low because you'll fly over choke ramp. First maybe try just doing the rollout up to choke, without jumping out of the slide. If after skip you land on choke ramp and slide across it then you're doing it right, practice that and when you'll be confident you'll hit that try jumping out of choke from the slide.
This + I've found that delaying the skip just slightly will make you go lower while still hitting the ramp, making it easier to hit that surf.

flipperscan someone refresh my mind on what a speedshot is, i've done them in jump maps before for sure but i just forget what exactly they entail.
Hitting the ground at the same time as your rocket, which lets you fly pretty damn far.
Excluding maybe a few of the top jumpers, I've never seen anyone able to consistently pull of speedshots.

Providing you'd hit it, you'd clear the ramp and probably land just past the rock.

There are shitlords in every community. Don't make this about HL vs. 6v6.
I think the difference is that Thief is like, low- in 6v6, while these guys are on the higher end of the HL skill spectrum.

marqueelynaI did a few CS:S and CS 1.6 pugs and I have to say it is the absolute worst community ever. I love the game but the people in it are such huge dirtbags. They will keep on shit talking no matter what. I got a 4k and then died as the last person alive, and some guy just called me shit. They don't even joke around, all they do is call you shit all day.

I think the only way to automate that would be setting one to be enabled on hud_minmode 1 and the other on hud_minmode 0.
Then add those two commands to their respective class configs.
