Seriously this is so bad for samiface. Before reading this I wanted to say something defending her but this is honestly sickening and unforgivable. I thought she was a good person so I'd like to hear her side of this but still, I don't see how this could be your reaction to someone coming forward about sexual assault ESPECIALLY when it seems like she already had at least an idea what had gone on with uberchain.
She seemed super invested into tf2 judging by the rewind movie, and apparently the extent of that is being absolutely fine with a rapist. Absolutely disgusting and I hope she finds help.
Also I think the reason she's shutting up about this completely is because the interpretation is pretty much dead on. How do you redeem yourself from that position? Maybe just going dead silent is the right move then.

As Uberchain said, I can somewhat understand being hesitant to believe something like this about a really close friend, and to some extent to even protect them, but if multiple people step forward you're just hard in denial. That paired with not even explaining yourself and even now seeing the exposure as the issue here and not the sexual assaults, is just irredeemable.

We (the community) did a bad job of protecting its members, many of whom are or were in the exact same situation you were when this was done to you.
I'm so very sorry. When the uberchain thread first came out now (years?) ago, I knew exactly who she was talking about immediately. I'm sure I'm not the only one, and that it continued to happen says a whole lot more about us as a community than either of you as victims.
I hope you can look back on your time in TF2 with fondness. I only met you that once but you are passionate and dedicated.
Was the Uberchain thread about Dashnerr too?
