fwiw craigslist charges money to put up listings for cars now so everything on there has gotten more expensive/anything sub 1k is usually for parts now
facebook marketplace is where u wanna look for sub 1000 shitboxes that actually run
edit: also if you're throwing a head unit in I'll add that pioneers have bad android compatibility. I can pair my phone via bluetooth but I can't directly plug it into the unit or use the app.
