You can't expect the people that have been playing tf2 for 6-7 years to keep playing it forever. They quit eventually and the scene needs some time to recover. Some of today's bad invite players will be tomorrow's legends.

obviously the skill level at the top level of tf2 has lowered with the entirety of the epsilon lineup leaving tf2 and everyone but b4nny from froyo quitting

but

muma is not the worst demo/player there has ever been to be top4 at any point and it's pretty much impossible for him to do anything but improve at this point, just because you may not like him as a person and he may play bad every few games does not mean he's the worst player to have ever graced invite and it does not mean the skill level of invite has dramatically decreased. You could argue that point a different way but pointing out the fact that muma is on the same team as b4nny does not mean what your saying.

I want also point out that people said this a lot when mangachu made LAN and people have said it about other people before and after that.

skill cap = how good u can be at the game/how well the game rewards skill before it being a moot point

skill level = how well people are playing the game relative to past present future players

ie

'csgo has a higher skillcap than bumper cars'

'the skill level of this pay-to-play dodgeball server is mindboggling'

also mangachu was far and away the best player on his team when he made lan

it was probably more that people actually knew who mangachu was among the 5 other mid-IM players he was carrying
