If medics didn't get overheal on qf uber, it might actually be possible for 1 person to kill him like with Kritz. Maybe even take away the fast heal to himself for normal QF heal. Though there's still the issue with QF being almost always better for mid fights because of how reliably fast it charges and the medic mobility.
Also can't wait for Vaccinator offseason.

You both run qf to mid because it's just better.
You charmin the other team, realize you can't push with qf, try to go change, the other team realizes that you've changed ---> you easily lose 2nd, kritz or uber is expected (checked with spy maybe) and most likely countered by pushing you very far back with qf (and probably a player adv from getting out of 2nd) till the point where a successful kritz/uber won't let you roll into last (qf med ez stalemate/push out on your adv), or you lose your medic and you respawn qf on your last.
Alternatively, both medics stay alive ---> 10minute midfight/stalemate on 2nd with whatever classes because no one is pushing on any kind of adv.
It's not rock/paper/scissors because both teams have to start with rock, and can't switch to paper until they die/switch in spawn ---> he's probably going paper knowing you have rock, but then again scissors beats rock on last? That analogy is not realistic.
Knowing they're trying to counter your gun is probably more important than them actually countering your gun. Plus it's extremely easy to know.
Probably the biggest reason why I hate it is that it plays out differently on each map. Gully as we saw is very slow, but maps like process and snakewater are a lot faster due to them being so open. The old meta was very consistent across all the maps. Smaller maps will be painstakingly slow, and larger maps will be so fast it is very hard to catch up on what's going on from a spectator pov, and imo just looks like a dm server.

Enough with this assumption that everyone wants it banned due to Slin...
I have literally wanted it banned since day 1 purely based on stats.
Also, it means that if one team quick fixes to mid the other has to which is just over simplifying the meta, meaning you HAVE to run qf to mid just in case the other team does...
