yo i've had this mouse for ~1 year and they don't make the old version anymore so i don't wanna get a new mouse. i have a zowie as a spare but i really like my g400. basically i was drinking something and it got on my mouse button slightly and i wiped it off but some might have gotten underneath it. it's not that sticky but every few clicks it just feels harder to press and i can live with it but if there's a simple way to get under the button or clean it i'm open for suggestions. thanks

I think you should be able to disassemble your mouse by prying off the teflon feet and unscrewing the screws under them. This process will probably destroy the feet so you'll have to buy replacements, but they are cheap.
