Ubisoft is doing some live gameplay on Twitch of Rainbow Six Siege. I am very interested in this one. Hope it turns out to be the Counter-Strike/SWAT successor it looks like it could be.

lol she/he never said it was scripted. You should pay attention if you are gonna make such claim. In the beginning of the stream, they were doing some introductions to the mechanics of the game so they played two rounds that were scripted, by that i mean that they were doing certain things on purpose to show what you can and cannot do. All the current rounds are played the normal way.

Sure it looks cool. But you can't say it's better than CS. The shorting in this game is nowhere near as deep as it is in CS, the focus is more on the destruction and working together. It's different from CS, not outright better or a replacement.

I would say it's looking just as good if not better currently, specially considering it's pre-alpha and it's looking this good. As for the shooting, there is plenty of time for that to happen, Ubisoft will go for competitive with this game, so hopefully they will balance it well enough and make the shooting mechanics great.

Have you played Counter Strike? Without this game completely changing its core mechanics the shooting won't be as good. Also, the last Ubisoft game everyone said looked really amazing was Watch_Dogs and look how that turned out.

you know they're gonna aim for consoles over pc in terms of competitive, thats the impression i get from this. it seems like a fairly mediocre game to be honest.

haha downpour, no, but i find the game pretty interesting if im honest. Apparently it's gonna have single player but not sure how that would play compared to what they are showing, and also they are only showing one map for whatever reason.
