Just wanna seriously thank these people. I somehow managed to get over $250 of donations in less than a week and can now go play at lan with dogs and beat up frenchies.

everything but the finals was alot of fun to watch. Epsi/Mix^ and Immunity were really close in skill level.

imo if we disregard the finals from both events, i52 was the most fun to watch so far! The teams were incredibly close, we saw different teams top the group and knockout stages, we saw tense golden caps and every continent seeming to have a chance at the top prize. i55 is probably going to be even more competitive than that, I'm hyped. Bigger and better.

I can't imagine Multiplay would want this either. TF2 isn't the biggest game there but it still draws a hefty crowd and people won't be happy if half of the best teams aren't there. I think the deal-breaker (if there is one) is fire safety.If they've hit their quota of people for the space they have then it's pretty catastrophic.

This year they're selling 2,000 tickets rather than 3,000. We think there might be more coming though.

That's just because there are people who bought tickets who haven't actually picked a seat. Seating picker only opened Friday evening so it's still in its infancy.

From what I can see so far they're working with less space compared to last year. I'd love to see the numbers but I bet it's a no-brainer to sustain the expo at last year's size over keeping the BYOC area the same. It's not going to be a small financial margin.

Was in a Game store today (the uk version of gamestop I guess) and they were advertising i55 over the speaker in store. I didn't realise they had any kind of real marketing budget let alone a national retail promotion. Don't mean to be a dick, but why didn't everyone other than TLR buy 6 tickets like ages ago? Or did people just not expect it to sell out from previous years?

The fact this is the 55th iseries and it's caught everyone by surprise tells you all you need to know.
