tf2 isn't mainstream enough, so projects concerning it are generally more hobby-esque and take longer.

little to no ROI and limited exposure
michael-tf2 isn't mainstream enough, so projects concerning it are generally more hobby-esque and take longer.
This, but also most of (if not all of) us have lives outside of the game and there are important things that need to be done.
If I could make a living off of doing match write-ups and news articles, I would absolutely pursue that path. In fact, I'd love to. But since I'm unable to, when other things in life put me in a time crunch, compromises have to be made.

Our filming team has finished recording additional interviews and footage at Tip of the Hats 2017 and Overwatch Contenders Season 1 as of September - October. As such, post-production has officially begun.
Because of the timeline extending, and thus updating the story line and narrative that has been established, Ready Up’s release date will be moved from 2017 to early 2018. We will be aiming to have a live premiere of the film at Rewind 2 in Santa Ana, CA.

You might know him as the guy who did the Hugumentaries from iSeries, as well as the guy who did the live video work for Tip of the Hats 2017 and the guy doing the Se7en documentary. After seeing him in action for TotH 2017 and getting a feel for the quality of his work, we've brought him on-board to help with the editing process.
