First match I ever played was way back a few years ago in TWL in whatever was the lowest division back then. I was somewhat nervous, but I think we won, can't remember though. Really brings me back :P

I remember my first actual esea match was against kryptic/focus on viaduct. Dart died 5 times and raheem had 5 frags.

It was probably a lot easier on me since we all shared a mumble and scrimmed pretty often

didnt play my team´s first match because somehow i had like a 6 gb tf2 update
played almost the entire season with 300 ms because my internet isp hadnt good ping with bra

My first match was in UGC a year+ ago against sunday funday. We lost 5-3 on cp_prolane. I got killed by a spy and was mad.

I wasn't that nervous and nobody really had a clue, but we got consistently better :D

One of their their scouts/snipers got VAC banned 15 minutes before the match, so we won 5 v 6

I played highlander before getting into 6s and my first season happened to be during the wonderful all custom map playtesting summer season. The map was a modified version of croissant that was so incredibly stalematey in HL that neither team capped until there was only 3 minutes left in the second half. Won 1-0.

Loud, everyone yelled and I couldn't tell people who I picked... ;-;

i remember my first match, twas a ETF2L match vs insane dutch killers that i had to play soldier in.

I played with dope wolf and got him in competive tf2 in my first match like 2 years ago

it was against some spanish people in etf2l on cp_well and we won mid and i went to spawncamp them as demo and they got really mad at me and called me a puta

my first match.... i honestly dont remember. I started playing back in season 3 of cevo, which was also the same time ESEA picked up TF2 for its first season. We played in both, and also CAL (yes cal was still around back then). I think my first match was either cal or cevo but i really dont remember. Here is my frist ESEA game tho.

A disaster.
I was mercing in ETF2L Highlander for a team that had little-to-no commitment to TF2 at all. It was literally a team comprised of LoL players.

The calls were a disaster, and I got MVP for my team both rounds. As Spy. With at least twice as many points as the Medic.
I'm not saying I'm good... They were just horrible.

My first match ever was in that "Alienware Arena Bigfoot Killer Edge Challenge" in 2009. My first team in our first match together played against blight (hong, ruwin, seagull, oPlaiD, dummy, pokey). I cant remember all the exact players. But anyway the match was on cp_follower. We got 5-0'd of course. But I was playing roamer and I remember jumping middle and picking the med (ruwin). Good times.

I played in some steel highlander game. I think it was cp_gullywash. I was scout and had absolutely no clue what I was doing lol.

I forgot what it was called, butRoughneck Challenge, the very first TF2 tournament supported by valve from TGL. Got rolled by a team that eventually lost to the doctors. granary was a stupid map back then (lose mid don't respawn and impossible to push back) though crits and weapon spread weren't the reason we lost. Was single elimination so it kinda sucked.

My first actual official was like last week.
played in some smaller tournaments before.
but damn i was pretty nervous for my first actual official.
I play in etf2l so it's in divisions and we knew we could do well in the division we're in (5).
so we kinda went into the game as the team playing to win, went 2-0 up after the first round lasted more then 10 minutes, they made a comeback to 2-2 in like 5 minutes. won 7-3 on badlands after that and won 5-0 on gully (etf2l matches consist out of 2 maps).
I was nervous before and at the start of the game, after a few rounds we got used to our opponents and played way more relaxed.

It was either 8v8 or Highlander on Badlands versus a team called DJedi. Unlike me, their demo actually knew what a rollout was. I don't think the match went that well for us.

I'd guess TWL 8v8. Djedi was pretty serious about 8's.
