server crashes when i connect

My tf2 server seems to run correctly but when i try to connect it crashes instantly, anyone know if theres crash logs to seewhat fails? i use a bunch of symlinks dunno if that could be an issue

Assuming it's a linux server, install 'gdb' and start the server with -debug. Let it crash, check the debug.log for clues.
