community market doesn't enforce pricing, so people can list whatever they want. at this point there are probably more spec ks originals being sold, so people undercut to try to sell them faster.

Sedan is spot on with the insight. You also have to keep in mind, most people don't want to trade via steam market due to valve getting a slice and margins are pretty low in stranges in the first place. Market has and is always going to be wonky due to people cashing out and people putting cash into it.

common killstreak kits are actually used a lot less commonly than spec killstreak kits are, meaning less people list regular killstreak weapons than spec ones. this is moreso true for strange weapons as well, as most people who want to killstreak-ify a weapon will be doing it with the best kit they can afford, and spec killstreaks are usually quite affordable

It's pretty much this. Also don't specialized kits have that bright sheen? Might be that people don't like the bright colors on their brown dildo-looking rocket launcher (which is a crime in itself but whatever)
