After several years of use, my Anne Pro 2 is malfunctioning. Sometimes, the keys won't even register for reasons beyond my understanding, so I've decided that it's probably an internal/mechanical issue.

That said, I'm looking for a new keyboard. Preferably 60% and below $100, with no particular switch preference (although I'm open to suggestions)

not a keyboard guru but i doubt youre getting similar build quality below 100usd, let alone PBT keycaps with a bearable legend

if you could single out malfunctioning switches perhaps replacing them with a soldering iron shouldnt be super difficult but since this isnt your first consideration you might be less than comfortable or willing to do so which i understand

i use an rk84(75%) but they do have a 60% version so i suggest this
https://www.amazon.com/RK-ROYAL-KLUDGE-Mechanical-Ultra-Compact/dp/B089GN2KBT
https://rkgamingstore.com/collections/61-keys

i have no complaints about the build and the switches, however i dont have gigantic standards so
its also like below 50$ on amazon

i guess you can piggyback off of anne pro 2 keycaps if you wanted to

most keyboards made by the larger companies should be towards that upper $100 limit, and some of them will come with software for LEDs/macros that could end up bogging down your pc over time, but if you're looking for something fast I would still go for something reliable and a little more expensive over a company selling a $30 board that I've never heard of. This HyperX board is on sale for $70, with the ability to mod it over time if you wanted to change something about it
That all being said, I build and mod keyboards/GC controllers as a hobbyist and it's a hobby that if you would want to learn how to solder, can be really fun to look into if that's something you might be interested in.
