so stupid question time; does anybody have any type of advice for me since i just switched from using the original that ive used since i came back to tf2 1-2 months ago, and now i wanna try to use the stock as my main rl instead
any advice? been thinking about playing with it until i get 10-20k kills on a strange stock rl and if it still feels wonky even then ill just go back to original, but literally any advice/anything is appreciated thx

In general I would say that while the differences between stock and original are often exaggerated, its still best to settle on one of them eventually. I find that while my dm with either rocket launcher is about the same that I am way more comfortable with the original when it comes to bombs, rollouts and jumping in general, but thats just me and its best that you experiment with either one to figure out which you find more effective.

I don't know why you would want to have asymmetry in your gameplay. If you want honest advice, I would say stick with using the original. If you want to use stock, I'm not really sure there's any advice other than get used to having offset aim. Like the above message, I think it matters the least in dm, thankfully.

practice jumping a lot, take advantage of being able to spam rightside corners without peeking, I dont think there's anything more meaningful than just giving it time though. only once you're used to playing with stock will you be able to accurately decide which one you actually prefer.

will most likely be doing this, going to check stock out though for a little while just to be sure which one i actually do prefer and decide to pick once some time has passed!

I haven't been playing competitive for ages, barely used Original. Did some MGE yesterday with both, felt like I'm missing more close range shots with stock. Could be placebo, could be not.

P S: I wish their was a console command to center the projectiles on other rocket launchers (like in tf2 classic thing). Would be a joy for a more casual player like me now, who likes to mess with unlocks.
