by default the health cross is filled in vertically based on the player's health
is there a way to either rotate the entire element 90 degrees or set some property to make it fill horizontally?

this would be really cool
imagine if your health is a hp bar like in a rpg
i'm pretty sure omp was working on something like this (saw screenshots) but he hasn't been on steam
valve made an fps called tf2 and slowly over time they've been updating it into an rpg
This is actually a good idea. I'm going to look into this.
i recommended it to omp and he started to make it look kind of like CS:GO's spectator hud because it's a pretty good hud
but idk where it wenttttt rip omp :(
Quick question so I don't have to make a new thread. How do I enable player class image so that the HUD shows what class I am playing?
tried doing this a few years ago. couldn't do it. don't know if it's possible.
If rotating elements is possible, I would be so happy
I always wanted a radial healthbar like Kingdom Hearts's, where a certain number of degrees would be equivalent to a certain amount of health instead of a percentage
So I could look at it and go "Oh it's under 90 degrees so I can die in a single meatshot/rocket" instead of having to think about the number
It would be fucking rad if we could control the red health mark with a set amount instead of a %age too

I think it's possible. I got it to partially work with the use of a progress bar. I'm still tweaking trying to get it to work perfectly.

details!?!?
Kind of hard to explain, but I'm basically manipulating a charge meter with a labeltext for your health value. Like I said, nowhere near perfect, but hopefully it's a start.
It should be possible to make very elaborate health meters using ligatures where every real number is associated with a separate glyph, but I never really saw the point. I think it's better to get used to the standard way of representing numbers, for whatever games we might play in the future.
