Most of the good and common ones were thrown up, but:
- Louis Armstrong
- Charles Mingus (I have a copy of "Let My Children Hear Music" on my steam profile - it's one of the best albums I've listened to with every track being amazing)
- Thelonius Monk
- Miles Davis
- Dave Brubeck
- Benny Goodman
- Billie Holiday
- Duke Ellington
- Herbie Hancock
- Hiromi Uehara
- Oscar Peterson (Hymn to Freedom is quite possibly one of my favorite songs of all time)
Stanton Moore and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band are more Big Band than Jazz at parts but they're worth a listen if you're a fan of the Jazz genre. Hugh Laurie also ended up doing some Big Band too, very multi-talented person. His album was "Let Them Talk".

the sax solo... amazing. also nice to see a slide trumpet feature (albeit a little out of tune!)
