So because 1. discussion about maps is happening, 2. I love Yukon and 3. I'm bored-

I wish Yukon would come back but I know it has a few problems, mostly the last being kind of shitty in terms of entrance and exit points. So I took a look and figured that this might help it out a bit.

The red rampy part may not be necessary/ go exactly there, but there would probably have to be a bit of reworking just to make getting into the tunnel a bit easier.

I'm all for fixing the couple of problem some of the mainstay maps have and bringing back some of the older fun ones (LIKE FREIGHT) so if this makes any sense at all, woo, if not feel free to tell me to get foot aids or whatever it is the kids are saying these days

I'm gonna stick with standin on this one, I liked broma.

Also the largest issue with yukon last also happens to be the same issue with a number of other maps in rotation in that last is either you commit to it or you don't. A lot of people fail to realize that what makes badlands so much fun at every point is there is always a possibility to engage the other team at some level. You can peek and spam at last and create damage that you can push off of, while a map like snakewater makes it fucking impossible to do damage to the defending team without giving away a free pick.

I liked the earlier versions of Yukon, when the mid point was under the bridge, and that extra hallway/tunnel wasn't there between mid and 2nd point. Even then it was a little annoying, but it was better. The map is too open.

standin and yukon both sucked compared to the current maps i don't understand how people come up with this stuff

standin was a silly game mode and the anatomy of the map made it a mess to play.
if you had a good sniper you would pretty much win your yukon games (worse than the old viaduct).

Yeah exactly. Yukon mid is sniper city. Maybe I just hate it so much because I play soldier and mid is so fucking big. Just get sniped before the first rocket you shoot even hits.

It wasn't just Yukon mid, it was Yukon second if the other team was pressured enough to not be near banana or whatever that area was called. Yukon last too, though I only felt "safe" sniping on it when there was a fight going on.
