On my open team, we have a really new flank scout. He has hours, but no 6s experience par a few scrims.
He has a real passion for the game, and really wants to learn, however I fear he will not be able to keep up with the rest of our team.
I want to keep him on main, however I don't want the rest of my team feeling held back.
As a team leader with no flank scout experience, what techniques do people suggest I use to help improve his general 6s skills? Any general flank scout tips I can forward onto him would also be useful.
I'd also super appreciate anyone that would consider going through a demo with him.
tl;dr how make new flank scout improve

have him watch demos of higher level players, and have him do map reviews aswell so he understands his role on each map and what he should be doing. Flank scout is GENERALLY pretty simple given you're playing pretty normally so it shouldnt take too long for him to understand his role on the team
yeah also just turn him into an MGE creature and the game will play itself

Just watching demos on your own is pretty useless/not worth doing if you don't have the experience to interpret them/understand what is happening and the dm to apply that understanding. Playing a lot of mge/pugs/dm and having a good player watch your/their demos with you is probably the fastest way to improve.
