I bought my current PC (Ryzen 5, GTX 1660) last November, never had a single issue with fps until earlier this month. Now suddenly I have drops from 200-250 down to 70-80 in messy fights whether it's a 15v15 pub or 9v9 hl.
I've tried Comanglia, mastercomfig, uninstalling my custom HUD - nothing helps. I hadn't installed any new software prior to when fps drops started, and I already removed the w10 update that had been installed a day before. So my only guess is that it has something to with the new effects added in the latest tf2 update.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue post-Halloween update?
edit: I also have the latest drivers installed on my graphics card.

Yeah my game is quite laggy but i just blame it on the souls, obviously my frames dont drop quite as much as for you but id say the souls are the main reason causing slight fps drops for most people

Ive had some random low spots in pubs and sometimes in various comp formats. These would usually be for 10-20 seconds at most. Have gone from between 160-300 fps (Depending on pubbing or comp) to around 30-60 causing it to be pretty hard to play during these moments. Will happen once or twice an hour
